It has several components derived from the ecoLove making the system cost effective. A larger battery can be fitted to increase the range (upto 70 km).

 

 

A "fit-it-youself" kit model A7 is available to fit certain models of existing hand driven trikes.

 

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Motor -- High efficiency, permanent magnet direct current motor.
  • Controls -- Steplessly variable, solid state electronic speed control system.
  • Battery -- Sealed, maintenance-free, lead-acid twelve-volt, 15 amp-hour battery.
  • Battery Mounting -- Quick Release mechanism for easy installation and removal for charging. Carrying handle provided.
  • Maximum Speed -- Non-pedal speed on level, smooth roads is approximately 13 km/h (70-kg rider). If you pedal, you can go faster. Lighter riders may go faster; heavier may go slower.
  • Range -- Total range is dependent on terrain and rider input through pedalling. The standard battery is good for up to one hour of riding (typically 12-16 kms).
  • Charger -- Automatic, portable, 2-amp charger plugs into standard electrical socket. (230 VAC). Charges in six hours or less.
